Η Ύπατη Αρμοστεία του ΟΗΕ αυξάνει την πίεση στην ελληνική κυβέρνηση σχετικά με τις παραβιάσεις του νόμου που γίνονται στο Αιγαίο. Όπως είπε στο γερμανικό Spiegel, η εκπρόσωπος της Υ.Α. στην Ελλάδα, Mireille Girard, από τις αρχές του περασμένου έτους έχουν καταγραφεί «αρκετές εκατοντάδες περιστατικά» πιθανών επαναπροωθήσεων. 

Η Υ.Α. έχει παραδώσει τις σχετικές πληροφορίες στις ελληνικές αρχές. Σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις, η Υπηρεσία του ΟΗΕ είχε τις δικές της πληροφορίες, ενδεικτικές παράνομων προωθήσεων σε ξηρά και θάλασσα. 

The undersigned civil society organisations would like to share their concerns regarding the phenomenon of illegal refoulements at the Greek-Turkish borders.
